Opportunities for Seasonal Assistant Wardens at Lochranza Campsite 2020
Experience Summer on a Beautiful Scottish Island!
Make Memories, Make Friends, Have Adventure in your Retirement
Life as an Assistant Warden at Lochranza Campsite
Every year, retired couples with their own caravans or camper vans, who love life in the great outdoors, join us from April to September to become part of the Lochranza Campsite team and experience the unique way of life of the beautiful Scottish island of Arran. At Lochranza Campsite you will do your daily tasks with red deer, red squirrels and golden eagles keeping an eye on you!
The qualities we value in our wardens are their warm, sociable, caring personalities, their energy and their enthusiasm. They are team-workers. No two days are ever the same so there is no danger of feeling stuck in a rut. Couples work together for a half day at a time and have two full days a week free to explore the island and to join in local community events and activities.
The main part of the wardens’ role is to welcome visitors and give them helpful information. It is a great chance to make many new, like-minded friends. Other duties are ensuring that the site and its facilities are kept attractive, clean and tidy.
We cover our wardens’ day-to-day living costs with a free pitch for their caravan or motor home, including gas, electricity and laundry costs and a weekly shopping allowance.
If this sounds like the opportunity for you to live a fuller life in your retirement that you have been looking for, please email Nigel via our contact page click here stating your interest. He will then arrange an informal discussion by telephone.
